The R & D Production Base of Nonwoven Technology under HongDa Research Institute Co., Ltd. (hereinafter The R & D Production Base) aims at tracing the trends of domestic and international technology development and meeting the present and potential market requirements. It was founded combining with the national technology innovation project – R & D of the Fine Fiber Spunbond Nonwoven Flexible Production Line. It constructs a platform of R & D production and marketing of HDRI. After having been founded, the base will fulfill five functions namely Research, Experiment, Exhibition, Training and Profit Making.

The R & D Production Base was planned in the year 2003, when nonwoven industry got rapid progress in China. Through new products development, technology research and experiment, it sets up pilot lines to produce various multifunctional nonwovens, to keep pace with the international industrial development trend. In the early stage, flexible spunbond devices and meltblown devices will be set up to get the target of high speed production, complex technology, composite products, evenly webbing and super fine fibers. The technology is designed to be of advanced level domestically and approaching the advanced level abroad. In addition, considering getting more different technology involved in the future, both the present lines and its basic structure are open to add further equipment. Also, as a marketing platform, the R & D Production Base will devote herself to the trade of nonwoven relative products in home and abroad.
