Hongda Research Institute Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to “HDRI”) was registered and founded in Beijing economic technological development area on May 8th 2001, with RMB 50 million assets provided by China Textile Machinery (Group) Co., Ltd. and Jingwei Textile Machinery Co., Ltd.. It is a top R&D organization of China Textile Machinery (Group) Co., Ltd., undertaking the strategy and long-term research projects of the Group Company. Meanwhile it is also a technical enterprise, established according to the modern enterprise system, having its own intellectual property rights.

The springboard of Hongda Research Institute Co., Ltd is to use information technology and new materials to improve the level and the property of textile machinery. By applying light, mechanic and new material techniques to the field of cotton spinning and weaving, chemical fiber, dyeing and non-woven machinery, the product quality and market competition ability are improved and the good social and economic benefits are achieved.

HDRI has Nonwoven Technology Center, Product Development Center, Industrialization Center, and System Control Departments etc. Our business covered complete sets of equipment of spinning and weaving, printing and dyeing, chemical fiber, nonwoven as well as R&D, import and export trade. We can also provide system solution plan and turnkey engineering for customers.

Additionally, the engineering of the nonwovens technique R&D production base progresses smoothly since its foundation Feb.4th, 2005. The basic construction had been completed by the first ten days of July. The installation of the production line will be fully started soon. The total installation is supposed to be accomplished in two months. As a R&D experimentation base on new material, now product and new technique, the base will also provide a platform to demonstrate the innovation fruit and actualize the user training.

HDRI has 65 employees and all technique employees at least have bachelor degree, among which there are 4 doctors (post) and 9 masters. Their specialties varies from engineering technique, mechanic, electric, technology, new material, system control, nonwoven, computer application, and enterprise management etc. In a long term, HDRI and its former departments contribute greatly in R&D of our national textile machinery products, control system integration, national textile machinery standard establishment and settlement of national important scientific and technique project. Our technique results have awarded several times by our national and correlative departments.

In recent years, HDRI had undertook and fulfilled many national technique innovation projects, such as new type of roving machine, automatic winder, nonwoven flexible production line, as well as many high tech projects, such as national 863 plan, national important technical equipment innovation projects etc. Meanwhile we had acquired several national patents.

At present, products and technologies provided by HRDI have covered 9 provinces in China, and exported to Indonesia, Australia, Egypt, Pakistan and South Africa.
